Late Hasmukhlal Chandulal Shah was the founder of H.C. Shah & Company. H.C. Shah, born in 1927, passed the first examination held by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (“ICAI“) in the year 1950. He then went on to establish his professional practice which culminated into H.C. Shah & Co. which has been in practice since 1950.
He was also the Secretary of WIRC and was one of the paper setters for the examinations of Chartered Accountancy held by ICAI. His extensive knowledge and experience in Chartered Accountancy has been passed by him onto his successor, Nikunj Shah.

Nikunj Shah is a tax, accounts and legal specialist. He is the sole proprietor of H. C. Shah & Associates(“HCSA”) and partner of International Financial & Consultancy Services (“IFCS“).
Nikunj Shah has been the senior advisor of H.C. Shah & Company, Chartered Accountants since 1980. He established his sole proprietorship of HCSA in 1990, and the business of IFCS in 1992.
Nikunj Shah has been advising clients in relation to tax, accounting, auditing, legal and real estate matters, company formation and closure, inheritance and succession planning and financial planning for over 40 years and has accomplished the growth of group entities of H.C. Shah to its present form.
His practice extends to clients residing and operating in India as well as non-residents/ non-resident entities, HNIs, Corporates, NGO’s and charitable trusts and professionals including doctors, lawyers and senior counsels.

Juhi Shah is a lawyer engaged in the field of tax law. She graduated in 2020 and has 4 years experience in corporate law. Her experience comprises of advising and assisting in matters pertaining to M&A, Private Equity, Wills and Succession Planning and Foreign Exchange Management laws.
She joined H. C. Shah & Associates in 2021 and has, since, engaged in the practice of tax law and contributed to the firm’s services.
